Recently, I’ve decided to finally go all-in on my gluten-free diet, for health reasons. I’ve found myself surrounded by others who have also needed to cut out all gluten. Many have standard items they eat and stick with. I, on the other hand, promised myself I would not give up on two things: my favorite foods and flavor. Thanksgiving dinner is no exception, so I’ve collected a list of Delicious Gluten Free Thanksgiving Recipes for Every Course for my fellow gluten-free and celiac readers.

Over the past few months, I’ve worked harder to research gluten—what it’s in, how to avoid it, etc. Some things I eat still have cross-contamination (because I’m not ready to jump in *that* much yet, though I should), but I do my best to make delicious gluten-free meals at home.
With Thanksgiving coming up, I am struggling between having a “cheat day” and feeling miserable, or finding a way to have a fully gluten-free Thanksgiving dinner to gobble up. I decided I would reach out to some of my fellow food bloggers and pull together this list of gluten-free Thanksgiving foods that you can add to your table, so you won’t have to miss out or give in to temptation.
These are celiac-friendly Thanksgiving recipes. Choose items from this list to plan your Gluten Free Thanksgiving Menu! I’ll even share tips for how many of each to choose.
We give thanks to you, O God; we give thanks, for your name is near. We recount your wondrous deeds.” -Psalm 75:1 ESV

Gluten Free Soups and Salads—Pick 1 Soup & 1 Salad & 1-2 Different Breads
Begin your hearty Thanksgiving course with a soup or salad and some bread!
My family loves to have soup with our Thanksgiving dinners…maybe it’s because I’m from Wisconsin where it was cold, but we would have chicken or turkey soup or chili. We often would have some type of salad, too.

Gluten Free Thanksgiving Dinner Main Course Recipes—Pick 1-2
Continue with a tasty main course.
Some families stick with just the traditional turkey for their main course, but my family would usually offer different options like ham and pot roast in addition to the turkey, so I wanted to add some alternative recipes for families like ours.
Don’t forget a nice, big serving platter and carving knife set!

Gluten Free Thanksgiving Condiments—Pick 1 gravy, 1 cranberry and as many others as you want!
Try these tasty condiments with your main dish or sides!
I’ve always loved condiments on Thanksgiving. Cranberry sauce became more of a main dish for me, but I also loved me some gravy with my turkey (especially if it was a bit dry).
Don’t forget the gravy boat!

Gluten Free Thanksgiving Sides and Appetizers (Pick 2-3)
Thanksgiving dinner isn’t really Thanksgiving dinner without some filling sides!
Thanksgiving sides were one of my favorite parts of the holiday, because I had texture issues. Usually I was forced to deal with whatever I was given, but this holiday…this holiday I was able to choose from a huge buffet of sides and eat my favorites…stuffing, fresh veggies…mmm.
Don’t forget serving spoons, casserole dishes, and trivets/hot pads!

Gluten Free Thanksgiving Desserts—Choose 1-2…or 3…or 4
Thanksgiving isn’t done until everyone has had dessert!
I grew up going to several houses for Thanksgiving. Maybe I’m spoiled, but we had so many different desserts to choose from each year. You can totally count some of them as “healthy”…. Fruit pies? Totally healthy.
Don’t forget your pie server!

Gluten Free Thanksgiving Beverages—Choose 1-2
Water, soda, juice and all the usuals are fine, but Thanksgiving is a special day…serve a special drink (or two)!
We were one of those families that would mostly just have soda or water, but I’ve always loved having hot cider, hot chocolate or “kiddie cocktail” style drinks. Often, I’d be found in the corner mixing my own creations.
Don’t forget a punch ladle and drink charms!
