I’m excited to announce that they have now partnered with Chicken Soup for the Soul! Now it is easier to get fresh food products for your family outside of the traditional retail stores.

I was trying to think of something delicious and nutritious to make using Zaycon chicken and Chicken Soup for the Soul chicken broth, something that is light enough that it can be enjoyed in the coming warmer months. I decided to make a Chicken and Lentil Bowl with Collard Greens (of course I had to add a little slice of the South.) All of my boys loved this dish and ate it with smiles on their faces and happy bellies.

Bonus tip: Pre-measure and pre-prepare everything you can before you start cooking. Sometimes you will have distractions you need to take care of right away (like kids climbing onto the table) and you will need to step away for a moment and you may not have time to finish chopping those veggies before the next step.
