From one military family to another, I am excited to partner with Community Coffee to share this fantastic program with you.
For a lot of military serving our country overseas or stateside, coffee is a huge staple. For my husband, I believe his first deployment was what really got him started on coffee (besides my caffeinated, coffee-addicted influence on him since we started dating.) When I heard about the Community Coffee Military Match Program that lets you send coffee to our troops, it sounded like such an amazing program.
Well, it is an amazing program, and I am excited to share more about it with you, including how you too can have a part in this.
May is National Military Appreciation Month. I realize that May is almost over, but I believe we should appreciate our military more than a month, as they do so much for us. One of the many ways you can show this appreciation is by taking part in the Military Match Program from Community Coffee, which will match your coffee order and send the same set to troops overseas.
Did you know that more than 2.2 million men and women are serving in our nation’s military?
My husband is one of them. When he was serving overseas, he always appreciated receiving things from home, as did those who were with him. Not sure how to thank them? You can send them coffee! Community Coffee has sent over 4.2 million cups of coffee to our troops. Wow!
So how can you participate?
For each set of four 12 oz. , 16 oz., or 18 ct. K-Cup® package you purchase through the Community Coffee Military Match Program (specific gift sets) to send to your service member, they will match your order with an additional four, and send all eight items to the APO/FPO or military base address you provide, AND they will include a signature military mug! Learn more about this program and purchase your coffee sets.
Have you seen my huge list of Deployment Freebies and Resources?
One thing that my husband did mention was that he didn’t really have a coffee maker with him, so you might want to make sure your service member has a coffee maker. Next time, we are sending a small 4-cup maker for him. Some have taken Keurig machines.
This is such an awesome program. As I mentioned earlier, I definitely had a part in getting my husband to drink coffee. When we met, he couldn’t stand it. He started enjoying prepared drinks, but ever since his deployment, black coffee has been an important part of his day. With everything they deal with, I completely get it, and I know how much this program would mean to him and to others serving.
Community Coffee was so kind and sent my husband and I a gift basket of coffee. YUM! I love that their coffees use 100% Arabica coffee beans, too, so you will be sharing high-quality coffee with our men and women of the military.
