Nuby Softees Silicone Teether ToyMy son has been teething like crazy; he seems to get all of his teeth in in pairs. Having a good teether is a must. We decided to try out the Nuby Softees Teether.

The Softees Teether comes in a different varieties including a silicone kind and a hard and soft kind, both with different shape and color options. We received the Silicone Teether.

What I Love

This Nuby teether is made perfectly for little hands to hold with a hole in the center and textured pieces all around the outside so he can chew anywhere. The one we have looks like a rocket ship (according to my oldest son) where it is wider on the top with little bumps and the bottom has two tabs with ridges on them as well. It’s gentle on baby’s gums and helps transition from nursing to chewing which actually helped my son as we recently started giving him more food that we are eating.

I really love that the teether comes with a case which helps to keep it clean around the house or in the diaper bag. It is also great that the Nuby Softees is BPA free! The silicone teether is made for 0 months+ and the other Softees teethers are made for 3 months+.  My son really enjoys his Softees Silicone Teether! He likes to carry it around in his mouth as he crawls around the room and is constantly chewing and gooing on it.

What I’m Not Huge On

The only thing I had any problems with was that the silicone collects dirt, fuzz, dust, and things like that very quickly. It is easy enough to wash off the teether; but, just having it around the carpet and really anywhere my son brings it, it picks up everything so it really has been a challenge to me as I am slightly a germaphobe. I wash it frequently, though, and we try to keep the house clean so it doesn’t get very dirty.

Overall, we love the Nuby Softees Silicone Baby Teether. It is easy for my son to use, helps with his teething pains, and the carrying case definitely comes in handy. 2. A teether that comes with a case?! I could have used that! It’s a great idea for putting it in the baby diaper bag or for traveling! Maybe you could attach it to one of those pacifier clips to keep it from falling on the ground so much? Your baby has THE most beautiful eyes!! THey make me melt and he would get away with murder in my house!!
