Body wash is a huge part of my daily skin care routine; it has to smell amazing and leave me feeling clean and refreshed. I like a body wash that will help me escape. As a busy mommy of two boys, my shower is one of the only times I have to myself. One way I can really make it count is to find just the right body wash, so I was really excited when I received the NEW Dial Coconut Water Refreshing Mango Body Wash to test.
We had the privilege to try the original Dial Coconut Water Body Wash a while back and loved it. In fact, we use it regularly.
What I Love
I love the scent! I am pretty sensitive to strong, unnatural scents, so the Dial Coconut Water Refreshing Mango body wash is exactly what I need. It has a sweet, nutty green coconut scent and the juicy, tangy, slightly floral scent of a tropical mango. The other day we went on a long walk and forgot drinks so we stopped at a convenience store. They had coconut water on sale, so I decided to try the mango flavor; this dial body wash smells just like it! The scent is not over-powering and is very natural.
Dial Coconut Mango moisturizing body wash leaves you skin feeling clean and hydrated. It lathers well and leaves a refreshing, uplifting aroma on your skin. What a great way to start the day! It is not too thick like some brands, leaving a sticky film on your skin, nor is it watery and thin as others, allowing the gel to stay on the cloth or loofah and preventing waste.
Rich in antioxidents, electrolytes, and nutrients, this coconut water and mango mixture helps you achieve healthy skin. Leave those other body washes at the shower door and let this nourishing soap take you away on a hydration vacation.
What I’m Not Huge On
My husband said the scent is a little bit “girly,” I supposed from the light floral note of the mango. Why is this a bad thing? It isn’t unless you yourself like more “manly” or gender-neutral scents or are considering purchasing this product for a man. It just means that I get the body wash all to myself (muahahaha.) My husband claimed the original Coconut Water body wash so now I have my own! I’d call that a win.
Overall, the Dial Coconut Water Refreshing Mango is gentle, replenishing, and hydrating with a natural scent and soft lather. It delights your senses leaving your skin feeling smooth and healthy, your nose happy, and your mind in a tropical paradise. Find this scent at your local retailer. Bonus Recipe: Want to enjoy this delightful body wash in the tub? Make it into a bubble bath soak with my simple recipe below!
DIY Homemade Coconut Body Wash Bubble Bath
- about 1/3 cup Dial Coconut Water Refreshing Mango body wash
- 1/4 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp coconut oil
- 1 1/2 Tbsp water
Directions: 1. Combine the body wash, sugar, and coconut oil in a cup and mix well. The mixture will turn a little bit thick. 2. Stir in the water until the mixture is thinner, but not too think. Mixture that is too thick will sink to the bottom of the tub leaving it slippery and preventing great production of bubbles while mixture too thin will be too watered down by the time it gets to the tub. Your mixture should be about the consistency of syrup. 3. Store the mixture in a sealed container like a baby food jar, travel bottle, or a larger mason jar or bottle if you decide to make a larger batch. 4. When you are ready to use the wash, pour the desired amount into the bath tub under the running water so it forms a lot of bubbles. If you want more foam on the top, use your hands to swish the water around creating even more bubbles. -This recipe makes enough for about 1 bubble bath.
