Zaycon Foods Review

Disclaimer: I received a free product for my review! These views are my own and were not
at all influenced by the party who gave me this opportunity..

zaycon foods chickenI had the opportunity to pick up a huge package of boneless, skinless chicken breasts from Zaycon Foods. This company sells bulk packages of fresh, farm direct, high quality, natural product. No added hormones, additives or artificial ingredients. Because the packages are sold in bulk, Zaycon Foods can offer their products at discounted rates. As I mentioned, I received the chicken, however they have many other foods you can order: bacon, beef, fruits, milk, honey and more!

Zaycon Foods sets up deliveries to various locations around the US. All I had to do was place my order online and pick it up at a location near me on the dates the truck was there. We had to drive a little ways out, but it was worth it. I was a little confused as a first timer as to how I was to go about picking it up, but there was just a Zaycon Foods truck parked and I pulled up and the worker placed my order in the back of my car. He even laid down a plastic bag first to make sure my car carpet stayed clean.

The chicken that I received was huge! It really did look more like a turkey breast. They had some extra creepy stuff on them (my terms for parts of a chicken I am not used to seeing as I tend to get store-bought that is mostly cleaned off) which I am not used to. I am not a fan of cleaning chicken, but it really did not take long and the chicken tasted very fresh. It came in a 40-lb box with four bags of 10-lbs of  chicken breasts each. Since it has never been frozen before, I was able to use one filet that night to make a meal and separate and freeze the rest for later. I recommend using freezer bags and separating the chicken rather than freezing it all together. I put one filet in each baggie as that portion will feed my family for a meal; yes, they are that big.

After pricing it out, I did find that the price is really a great deal–better than most store sales and you get fresh, natural chicken! As long as you can afford to stock up at one time, I highly recommend trying this out.
